Tutor Information

In the Counseling Area:  Free, No Appointment Necessary, Monday –Thursday 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m

Lexington High School provides this list of tutors as a service to parents, but does not make any ability assessments or endorsements for any of the persons who have asked to be placed on the list.  It is recommended that parents considering any tutor thoroughly assess that person’s capabilities and credentials.  All financial arrangements, transportation and appointments with tutors are strictly the responsibility of the parents.

Hawaiian Luau Party

Each LHS home football game this season will have a theme to engage our Wildcat fans & build spirit. We encourage all fans to get excited and join the fun because YOU make a difference in the atmosphere of the game!

Join us this Friday for our Hawaiian Luau Party – wear your favorite Hawaiian, tropical, or luau gear as we bring summer to a close and cheer on the Wildcats to a colorful victory! Tickets on sale Friday.

College Visits

A representative from the following colleges will be visiting with LHS to answer any questions about their college. If you would like to visit with the representative come by the counseling office to receive a pass. The times that the representative will be here are on the pass you pick up in the Counseling office.

USC Columbia – September 7
Presbyterian College – September 8
University of Alabama – September 13
Newberry College – September 14


Weather Updates

As a precaution, Lexington One will dismiss all schools early today, Friday, September 2.  This is for all students in all attendance areas.  Lexington One high schools will dismiss at noon.

All after-school programs, athletic practices or events, adult education classes, other school or district-related meetings, events or extra-curricular activities scheduled for after school or evening are also canceled.

The LHS varsity football game vs. BC has been moved to Saturday morning at 11am! Spread the word and let’s pack out Wildcat Stadium…and don’t forget to wear your ‘Merica gear!

ACT Workshop

LHS will hold an ACT Workshop on September 6 from 8:20 – 3:25.  The cost of the workshop is $25.00 with the check made out to LHS. The workshop is open to any student and the absence from class will be excused.  The location of the workshop will be given at a later time. Come by the Counseling and Advisement office to register.
