11th grade student and parent surveys

The Educational Accountability Act of 1998 specifies that “school report cards should include information in such areas as .. evaluations of the school by parents, teachers, and students.”

Today, March 23, your 11th grade student took the school report card survey. They were also given a parent report card survey packet to bring home. Please make sure you get the packet and take the survey. You can return the survey to the Main Office or to the SC Department of Education. Parent surveys should be returned to the school by April 27.

The results of the surveys will provide valuable information to principals, teachers, parents, School Improvement Councils, and community groups in their efforst to identify areas for improvement. Results will also appear on the annual school report cards.

Thank you for taking the time to participate.
