Parents! Lexington High School is looking for parents of our students who would like to participate in our School Improvement Council (SIC). The SIC is a group of parents, teachers, students, community members, and administration who meet monthly to discuss and implement ideas to improve the school. The meetings are usually the 4th Monday of every month at 6:00 PM in the Learning Commons at Lexington High School. If you are interested, please fill out a submission form and put it in the ballot box that will be available at school registration on Thursday, Aug 9th and/or make up registration on Monday, Aug 13th. The administration at LHS appreciates your interest in helping to better our school! If you have any questions please contact Mr. Will Verburg at 821-3406 or at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you!
Schedule change requests are considered if class space allows. Due to schedule conflicts, there is no guarantee that all courses requested can be scheduled. Please submit this form by July 1: LHS Schedule Change Request- Summer 2018
1. The class(s) you are requesting may be full, or you may be enrolled in a core academic class that is offered at the same time as the class you’re requesting. Therefore, we may not be able to honor your request.
2. Please refer to the District Course Catalog to ensure you have met the grade level requirement and prerequisites for the classes you are requesting. The District Course Catalog information can be found on the District’s website at www.lexington1.net/course-catalog
3. Minor changes to the master schedule during the summer may alter the order and placement of courses. Final schedules will be available at schedule pick up in August.
Many courses are full. If you request one of these courses, you will be placed on a waiting list. You will be notified if space becomes available.
You will not be allowed to park on campus next year until you have completed the Alive@ 25 program, submitted random drug testing paperwork and purchased a parking pass. You only need to complete the random drug testing paperwork one time in your four years at Lexington High School. If you need to take Alive @ 25 there are classes offered throughout the summer. To sign up for Alive @ 25, visit http://www.scaliveat25.com If you have previously taken the Alive @ 25 class you will only need to purchase a parking pass for the 2018-19 school year. Our expectation is that everyone will have completed all parking requirements by the first day of school on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
