No LCSD1 After-school Activities Today

After carefully monitoring the weather situation, considering the expectation of high winds later this afternoon/evening and consulting with Lexington County and Lexington County Emergency Preparedness officials, Lexington County School District One is canceling all after-school programs, athletic practices or events, adult education classes, other school or district-related meetings, events or extra-curricular activities scheduled for after school or evening for today, Monday, April 3, 2017. This is for all students in all Lexington One attendance areas.

Parents can also get information about school openings and closings by watching local tv stations, going to media websites, listening to local radio stations, checking www.lexington1.net or calling the recorded telephone message center at 803-821-1299.

National College Fair

There is one major college fair that comes through the area each spring- sponsored the National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC). It is a great opportunity to connect with colleges you may want to pursue, let them know you’re interested, and investigate colleges you haven’t heard of before.

Admission is free but you do have to save your spot.

Make sure to print out the id page and bar code once you register and take it with you to the fair. If you want to get on a college’s radar, make sure they scan your bar code.

Please try to attend one – great opportunity!
