Personal Information and Hobbies
I was born in Lexington and have lived here my entire life. I was a Caughman and married a Rawl, so I’m kin to almost everyone! I have been happily married for 37 years to Otis B. Rawl, Jr.; he and both our children are also proud graduates of LHS. My husband is the Past President and CEO of the SC Chamber of Commerce. Anna Rawl Good is an attorney in Columbia and she has two children, Drew and Caroline. Aaron Rawl is a graduate of USC where he majored in political science and played baseball. He now is a SLED agent and married to Andi. They have a son, Jackson. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sporting events, singing, and gardening.

Work Experience
I taught in Lexington District Two for 19 years before returning to my home district. I taught at Gilbert High School one year, and I taught at Lexington High School three years where I was the AP English teacher and SAT Verbal Coach. I served as Assistant Principal for Instruction prior to serving now as Principal. I have also been Director of Summer School for the district. I am proud to now serve in the capacity of Principal at Lexington High School to help the students, parents, and community of Lexington District One, Where Children & Learning Are One!!!

Personal Information/Hobbies:
I was born and raised just down the road in Leesville, SC. I currently reside there with my husband Terry and my two daughters, Gracyn and Brooke. I spend most of my time watching my children play golf, basketball, soccer, and gymnastics. I love sports of all types and enjoy watching the Wildcat athletic teams. I am a member of First Baptist Church, Batesburg.

Work Experience
After college graduation, I worked in the medical field as a Medical Technologist until 2000. I transitioned into teaching and taught physical science, biology, anatomy/physiology, and physics at Batesburg-Leesville High School from August 2000 to May 2011. I was then hired as an Assistant Administrator here at Lexington High School.

Education and Work Experience
Brandon L. Baskett, who recently served as assistant principal at Newberry High School, joins Lexington District One as assistant principal at Lexington High School.

An educator for six years, Baskett began his career in 2011 as interim coordinator of intercultural programs at the University of South Carolina Aiken.

He joined Mid-Carolina High School in the School District of Newberry County as an English teacher in 2012. While there, he served as assistant varsity boys basketball coach from 2013–2016, summer school administrator from 2014–2016, and administrative intern and teacher technology leader in 2015.

He also served as an Upward Bound Instructor for the University of South Carolina in 2013.

Baskett earned a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a Master of Education in educational administration from the University of South Carolina. He holds certifications in secondary education and secondary educational administration and is a Microsoft Innovative Educator.

Honored as Mid-Carolina High School Teacher of the Month and Teacher of the Year, as well as Rotary Teacher of the Month, he is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the International Society for Technology in Education.
